Bitter Pill: Why Medical Bills Are Killing Us  It started with 2 facts that everyone is aware of: 1. Everything in the healthcare costs too much. and 2. Big hospitals, clinics, medical equipment makers and drug makers are making profits that rank right up there with the oil companies. The obvious question was HOW DO THEY DO IT?

Steven Brill Interview- Pt.1-3  The purpose of this blog is to get as many people as possible to watch this interview and realize that we are all being exploited by this unaccountable industry. There are lots of ways this can be stopped once people get angry about it but let's start with suggestions from those who are already upset. I'll start with one simple one. Why don't we ask our elected representatives 2 questions: 1. Do you know what the Chargemaster is?  2. What do you propose we do about it?  (In other words, let's start by educating our oblivious representatives and senators. After all, there is an election coming up in 2014 and this problem is bankrupting the country.)
